Bright red in color, aromas of violets and red berries complement undertones of leather and anise. On the palate, this wine is dry and mellow with smooth tannins that make for a crowd-pleasing, easy-to-drink red wine.

Pair this wine with antipasti, Bolognese sauces, game, and ripe cheeses.

Avignonesi Desiderio Merlot 2016

Merlot from Tuscany, Italy.

Elegant and intense the 2016 Desiderio has a strong connection between the nose and on the palate experience. As per the yin and the yang represented on the bull, this vintage benefited from the varied climate conditions that allowed for grapes to reach a perfect maturity. On the nose notes of mint, coffee powder, cassis and pine forest come across. On the palate elegant tannins give way to a deep velvety long-lasting finish.

Blend: 92% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Sauvignon

Assalto Sangiovese Terre di Chieti IGT

Assalto has a garnet red color. Quite intense and persistent perfume, fruity with light floral hints.

The taste is medium-bodied, tannic and balanced.
